Social Voting – The New Way for Google to Measure How Effective Your Chiropractic Marketing is for Your Practice?
In the past, if you wanted to choose/find a chiropractor, the searcher would hop onto Google and do a quick search for “CITY + Chiropractor.” They would check out the doctors website and if it looked good, they might book an appointment.
Take a look around the internet nowadays! So much has changed.
Today before hiring a chiropractor, the searcher will also explore Social Voting! Such as…
- Reviews about this chiropractor…
- They’ll check their Facebook Fan Page for the clinic…
- They’ll go to a social review site such as Judy’s Book or Yelp and see what others have posted about this chiropractor…
- They might check out the doctors Google Places listing and check for reviews posted there
You get the picture. Today, more emphasis is placed on Consumer Voting and Reviews then ever before. Now one very important issue that you will need to stay on top of is…
Reputation Management and Chiropractic Marketing
What if some nut-job posts something inaccurate about your clinic? You need to stay on top of what people are saying about you – otherwise people could be dissuaded by a negative review that was unfair.
One trick is to use Google Alerts. It is free. Whenever Google “see’s” someone posting something about you (your name or practice name), you will be sent an email containing a link to what they said!
To counteract a negative review, you should send an email to your patient base. Ask them to post a positive review for you. Often when you do this, you will get a dozen or more people who come to your defense and post raving fan testimonials… that make the one negative review look inaccurate and without basis.
In summary, the future of getting patients from the internet will center more around Social Voting. What are you doing to initiate and manage Social Voting for your chiropractic practice? This is the future of chiropractic marketing.
